But on multi-lane highways I think there may still be blind spots — For example, suppose there are 3 lanes in your direction, and you are in the right-most lane — If a driver in the left-most lane and to the rear of you suddenly cuts across two lanes to try to pass you, he might enter a blind spot when he leaves your rear view mirror.
