Callaway x hot driver shaft length

At first I was hitting more towards the hosel but I fixed that by alligning the club towards the toe. This is also the longest club I've ever owned in metres off the tee. Sign in or Register with Golfalot. By Martin Hopley. Jan 04, Golfalot Rating: 5 stars. More from Callaway. I saw at least 15 yards on my drives and while trying to figure out closed or straight I was getting improved accuracy from the tee. Callaway has made some great improvements that I found to be very helpful to average player, my only suggestion would be a bigger selection of shafts.

To me these look amazing!!! Spent an hour or so getting driver fitted yesterday. Anyway, the Callaway and Anser were the best fits for me. I preferred the Xtreme to the X Hot both in performance and looks. Perhaps flatter swings will do better with the higher lofts. The Callaway rep was trying to build excitement for the X Hot but the Xtreme was both more accurate and longer for me. Because the ball is HOT off the club face.

I was hitting the hybrid 3 iron , , and yards. I cant imagine what I could do with the fairway woods or driver! Both clubs were very very comparable. I was a little more accurate with the Adams but not by much. Yet, I had much more distance with the Callaways. I didnt get a chance to hit xhot driver but the 3 wood is awesome..

It was yrds farther than my rbz They were all stiff shafts but obviously slightly different probably with weight, torque and kick point etc. I bought the tour version of the rockeballz driver , 3 wood and 3 hybrid last year. I wish they looked like these clubs. Black paint view at Address is wicked! Like an i20…… My Razr Hawk Hope they are truly a D3 swingweight, my Razr Hawk is under D 1 as delivered. Go Callaway!! You heard it here first!

We are talking performance here, not hype or looks. Not sure what Andy means by out of sync and tacky colors. They are Black, red, and white. If I am not mistaken, the same colors as his R11? Who is the new standard? Taylormade with a white head, Cobra with multi-colored heads, Ping has black, Titleist has Black. They just have a bigger marketing budget to pay tour pros to use the driver which drives product sales. This is only my opinion, but these clubs look awful.

Dull crowns and underneath the design looks cheap and tacky. This years most talked-about and anticipated designs are the polar opposite of these. TM, Cobra and Nike are all going to be taking market share away from Callaway. Even in terms of marketing and publicity they are bad news because all the others are instantly recognisable on TV, whereas these are very nondescript.

Both models are really good. Preordered mine this afternoon. Not only did it sit squarely at address but it was easily yards further every time and direction was good too. I took it to the range yesterday and was blon away by the carry. I like what they have done here.

Like any club I try its more about performance than the look. It has a pretty large sweet spot and has added a good 20 yards to my drive.

The only negative I imagine I don't mind is the sound it makes off the tee. It kind of sounds like a baseball hitting and aluminum bat. If you can get by the sound you'll love the club!

A Great Fairway Wood! December 27, I have not had much success with hitting fairway woods in the past, but for some reason THIS one just works! The weighting I think is what surprised me the most And the sound! Easy to hit. November 29, Striped it down the fairway on my first swing.

The weight of the club head makes it easy to make good contact. Cons Takes a little practice to get used to hitting off the deck. Great club November 12, Best 3 wood I have owned. Sold original 5 years ago and went to Ping. Saw the opportunity to buy new again from RBG.

No regrets. Very nice club. October 14, Callaway X-Hot Fairway Wood looks very nice and feels great. In fact, Callaway say the X2 Hot is 9 yards longer than the original X Hot driver, thanks to a thinner face, larger sweet spot and improved head shape. The big story in the X Hot range was the Hyper Steel Face: a thin, strong, titanium face that increased ball speeds.

Well that story continues in the X2 Hot driver, which features the fastest, thinnest, lightest titanium face Callaway has ever produced. Minor tweaks were made to the design of the cc clubhead to not only make it look better, but play better. After researching colours, Callaway decided to make the grey crown colour a little darker than before to create a more premium feel.
